About the Author
Rick Carter is a licensed public adjuster and insurance claim expert. He is the author of the book "How to Settle Your Claim and Get the Money You Deserve".
He is licensed in Louisiana, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and California. Rick holds a BS degree and two Masters' degrees.
His experience in the insurance industry serving as a public adjuster, representing property owners has been very profitable for his clients. He has served as an expert witness for over two hundred claims in Texas and has been hired by plaintiff lawyers to document their client's property damage claims with insurance carriers. In 2014 - 2015 Rick was recruited to work with a team in Mexico for a large commercial hurricane loss of over 40 million dollars, and hasn’t stopped helping people since.
Over the last thirty years, Rick has also served in numerous leadership roles in community service. Rick and his wife Julie have been married for over 30 years and have four children and one grandchild.
