Through Rick's attention to detail and decades of expertise, he more than doubled our insurance company's original offer. Rick was in constant contact with the insurance Co., handled all of the paperwork, visited the site on numerous occasions and in the end secured the payment of our claim. Rick was an essential asset when we really needed help. As the Home Owner Association president at the time of this loss I would absolutely recommend Rick Carter!”

Your claim matters and deserves attention!

As a member of the premier association in the USA for Multi-unit housing and HOA’s, we stay abreast of HOA concerns and “best practices” for community boards, owners, management companies and stakeholders involved in an insurance claim.

HOA CLAIM COMPLEXITIES

Home Owner Association claims can be difficult and fatiguing. Expansive commercial policies, covenants and agreements, and by-laws complicate the claim process. Often insurance adjusters are unaware of the complexities of the policy, and it is common for claims to be severely underestimated.

Within the repair process there are issues of selecting dry-out and mitigation contractors, roofing, and build-back protocols. All of this responsibility falls upon the shoulders of the board of directors of the HOA.

We have the experience, skill and know-how to guide your HOA board through the claim process, while following best practices for repairs and claim resolution. We partner with you to facilitate a successful repair process and claim resolution.

INDIVIDUAL OWNER CONCERNS

While it is important that the exterior of the HOA Common areas are fully paid, it is also vitally important that the individual family and owners are also cared for.

Individual property owner policies differ as do all insurance companies and adjusters. Items like cabinetry and appliances may or may not be included. In addition there is loss of use, additional living expenses, debris removal, business loss interruption and personal property to be accounted for.

We have created a proprietary “tool kit” which can explain and walk each owner through the claim process with helpful sample guidelines, spreadsheets and suggestions on overcoming objections from your insurance company. This “HO6 Toolkit” is available to all HOA members of communities that retain us for help.
